Royal House Antiques is delighted to offer for sale this lovely pair of extremely ornate hand carved Anglo Indian Burmese Peacock armchairs.

What can I say, these have to be the most decorative chairs I have ever seen. They are a wonderful conversation piece, hand carved from solid slabs of hard wood, imagine what the cost would be to commission these in today’s market! It would have to be the low tens of thousands.

We have cleaned waxed and polished them from top to bottom, they are in the 100% original unaltered condition, they have a wonderful period patina throughout.
