Here we have a rare Victorian Windsor Grandfather chair c1860. As you can see this rare chair has retained traces of its original paint which sets the chair apart from others. The paint has worn off in all the right places to leave a stunning finish. There is a hooped Ash top rail with decorative central splat and stick back. There are broad Ash arms with well turned arm supports. There is a super grainy thick Elm saddle shaped seat and beautifully turned legs joined by a double H stretcher. A super period chair in excellent retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 115 cm high 69 cm wide 50 cm deep.
