Figured Walnut Writing Slope C1850

Description

This super quality FIGURED WALNUT WRITING SLOPE, dating from circa 1850, has its original brass gallery and leather inset.

The side, swing-out pen and ink compartment is released by the removal of the small handle on the inside bottom drawer.

The WALNUT is a lovely, rich colour and has a good patina.

Height (including gallery): 6.75 inches (17.5 cm)

Width (including brass handle): 19 inches (48 cm)

Depth: 23 inches (59 cm)
