Welsh child''s chair in the Windsor style but of more primitive appearance. The seat is ash, whilst the arms, arm supports, legs and stretchers are fruitwood; the timber of the back is uncertain and is possibly oak. The chair has a historical black paint or varnish finish which is nicely worn through in places. One of the side stretchers has an old repair and is bound with tape or string.
