Set of 8 (6+2) Georgian Revival Dining Chairs

1900 - 1920
Description

A good set of mahogany Georgian style dining chairs consisting of 6 singles and 2 carvers/elbow chairs.

The wonderfully pierced backs with carved wheat ear decoration leading to serpentine top rail. The square moulded front legs with carved bluebell decoration and pierced corner brackets joined to serpentine front rail. Each chair with 4 stretchers joining the legs for extra strength and stability. Drop in seats which need re-covering.
