Georgian Antiques has dated this Regency Rosewood Teapoy to the 19th Century.
To the sides are cast brass lion mask head with pull rings. It is on a scumbled rosewood column which has a ring turn, a full fluting section and leads on to a circular base of sabre legs which are inlaid in brass, finishing on brass hairy paw feet and brass castors. The interior is covered in velvet, with a central bowl inlaid with brass between two hinged compartments.
