Welsh Oak Armchair, Circa 1790

Welsh oak farmhouse armchair of small proportions, with a back design taken from a Hepplewhite pattern, with a ''camel-back'' top rail above a pierced splat, with slender outward-swept arms on curved supports, over a drop-in upholstered seat raised on square legs united by stretchers. Good colour and surface patination.
 
The seat is covered in a vintage material and would benefit from being re-upholstered.
