Description

A quality William IV solid mahogany desk or elbow chair with drop in leather seat c.1830. The solid figured mahogany frame with bowed back rest, which is rebated to form a panel to the centre with a swagged design centre rail set below. The moulded arms with flowing scroll design. Complementing moulded top rail with turned reeded legs to the chair front and splayed legs to the rear. Newly upholstered dark brown drop in design leather seat. Very sturdy, comfortable and usable, presented in excellent condition with a deep polish. Seat height is 18". Keep up to date via our Instagram channel - sturmansantiques.
