Large Oak Framed Mirror C.1880

Description

Unusual large oak framed mirror c.1880. Shapely moulded oak frame carved with a female head flanked with floral spray at the top and with further carved detail to the middle of the sides and the bottom. Retaining traces of gold paint to some of the moulding. Left dry and unpolished. Fitted with a new mirror plate (max dimensions of the plate 33" x 56").
