Marlborough Antiques & Interiors has dated this Arts and Crafts Oak Armchair to the 1910s.
Constructed in oak with a rich, warm patina, the chair features beautifully shaped sweeping arms with broad rounded terminals, slatted sides and back, and a traditional adjustable reclining mechanism allowing the backrest to be set at several different angles.
Raised on square supports with rounded front feet, this is a particularly attractive and comfortable example, combining the strong architectural lines and practical craftsmanship associated with the Arts & Crafts movement.

Condition: Good antique condition with wear, marks and variations to the finish consistent with age and use. The frame is solid and the reclining mechanism is present and functional. Recently reupholstered. Seat Height 41 cm
