This is a pair of antique morning room elbow chairs. An English, mahogany lounge or reception hall seat, dating to the William IV period, circa 1835.

Excellent seating, with striking figuring and form

Presenting a desirable aged patina and in good order

Select stocks show fine grain interest, and superb flame figuring

Both chairs benefit from a recent professional reupholstering

Eye-catching bowed crest rails, with scrolled ends and distinctive gadrooned finish
