Penderyn Antiques has dated this Carved Anglo Indian Chair to the 19th Century.
Spiral twist uprights terminate in carved finials, while the front legs are carved with further detail and retain the original brass and ceramic castors. The seat has a serpentine front rail and is upholstered in a pink floral damask fabric finished with a pink border. The frame displays crisp, well-executed carving throughout, with decoration continuing to the seat rails, legs and uprights.

CONDITION REPORT:
Overall in good antique condition. The frame is structurally solid and sound with age-related surface wear, minor marks and rubbing consistent with age and use. The upholstery is clean and serviceable with some general wear and fading commensurate with age. The original castors remain present and are in working order.
