An attractive and good quality ''Captain''s'' elbow chair dating from the early 20th century. It has a comfortable wide and deep elm seat with a curving back supported by turned spindles. It stands on turned legs joined by a double stretcher.It is approximately 31 1/2'' (80cm) high and it is 27” (68cm) wide across the arms. The seat is approximately 19'' (48cm) deep and 17 1/4'' (44cm) high.It is in good condition for its age and displays well. It has a lovely warm colour and is a strong and sturdy chair.
