A fine quality mid 19th century George III style Gainsborough armchair, well carved to the arms with rosettes and trailing leaves, and to the legs with acanthus leaves around a central shell on the knee.
 
Upholstered in a usable vintage red velvet with signs of age, but could benefit from new upholstery.
