Description

From a small collection of great tea caddies we have acquired a great brass inlaid rosewood tea caddy from the regency period

In superb original condition it measures 34cms long 19cms h and 20cms w.

The brass inlay is intact with no repairs and it has acquired a lovely untouched patina. The glass mixing bowl is untouched and is perfect.

These always look smart in any decorative scheme. A throwback to a lifestyle involved the ceremony of mixing tea indian and chinese to make the perfect " brew".
