Antique Walnut Wall Mirror

A charming antique wall mirror in a warm-toned figured walnut. The frame features a gently moulded surround with an elegant arched top, surmounted by a decorative carved crest with scrolling detail. The proportions are particularly pleasing, giving the piece a well-balanced and refined appearance. The reverse shows traditional boarded construction, further highlighting its age and authenticity. A decorative yet practical piece with strong visual appeal.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition, with light wear consistent with age and use. There are some minor surface marks and a light scratch to the right-hand side of the frame. The mirror plate is clear. Originally part of a dressing table, as evidenced by the brackets to the sides. The mirror does not currently have fittings for wall hanging, so these would need to be added if required. Structurally sound overall.
