Description

An attractive antique upholstered low tub chair, having a shaped back with gently curved arms and a deep comfortable seat. Raised on turned ebonised legs with brass castors, the chair is upholstered in a classical style fabric featuring urns, garlands and cherub motifs. A charming occasional or bedroom chair with plenty of character.

CONDITION REPORT:

In antique condition throughout with signs of age and use. The upholstery has significant wear and there are tears to the front edge of the seat as shown, as well as staining throughout. It is a solid and sound piece, with lovely silhouette but would benefit from reupholstery. There are also age-related marks and staining consistent with use. The frame is solid and the castors run well.
