This Victorian side cabinet dates from 1880 and comes in rich brown rosewood with brass hardware, glass, and mirrors. The piece measures 186 cm high, 123 cm wide, and 37 cm deep, standing on turned tapering legs united by a lower undertier. Classical urn marquetry decorates the shaped pediment, the central frieze panel, and the lower cupboard doors, complemented by fine inlaid stringing along the drawer fronts and bowed sections. The upper section contains a pair of glazed doors with astragal bars opening to glass shelves, flanked on each side by small mirror panels set beneath tiny turned spindles.
