Pair of Early 20th Century Giltwood Mirrors in the Louis Xv Manner

A striking and elegant pair of 20th century wall mirrors crafted in the French Louis XV Rococo style.Beautifully shaped with an elongated cartouche form, each mirror features scrolling acanthus decoration, pierced cresting and a finely detailed foliate base. The frames have a rich gilt finish which catches the light wonderfully and gives them real presence on the wall.Their proportions make them ideal for flanking a chimney breast, positioning either side of a painting, or adding symmetry to a bedroom or hallway.

Condition; In very good overall condition with minor surface wear commensurate with age and use. The mirrors have later plates and present well.
