The mahogany has a warm tone, highlighting the quality of the carving. It stands on turned front legs and outswept back legs, all mounted on castors. The chair is upholstered in a silk-type fabric embroidered with flowers on a striped ground. The upholstery follows the shape of the frame and complements the tone of the mahogany.
