A Victorian upholstered armchair of elegant form, raised on turned and carved legs terminating in carved lion paw feet, united by decorative stretchers. The shaped arms are gently scrolled and carved. The chair is upholstered in an emerald green velvet-style fabric, which compliments the warm tone of the timber and gives a rich, decorative presence. A handsome and comfortable chair.

In good antique condition overall. The upholstery appears clean and well presented, with only signs of use (photographed). The frame shows minor surface wear and small marks consistent with age. Structurally solid and sound, a charming example.
