A beautiful late 19th-century ladies’ nursing chair with an elegant balloon back, deep buttoned upholstery and a richly carved walnut frame.

The low, generous seat and flowing cabriole legs on original ceramic castors give it a classic Victorian parlour look perfect for a bedroom, reading corner or bay window.

The frame is solid and stable, with attractive carving to the crest rail and front rail.

The green patterned fabric is in very good vintage condition, clean and presentable, with only light signs of use consistent with age.
