Antique Victorian Inlaid Bow Front Corner Cupboard

Description

An inlaid walnut bow-front corner display cupboard. Veneered in walnut with crossbanded borders and decorative inlaid friezes. The front is fitted with a single curved glazed door with a rounded walnut frame. The side uprights feature cast brass mounts to the top and bottom. The interior is lined with a green patterned fabric with one loose shelf. Stands on a shaped front plinth, overall an attractive piece.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks and scratches throughout the piece. Notable marks and scratches to the top. Visible shrinkage to the door which does not fully close as a result. Later upholstered interior. Some loss to veneer throughout, particularly around the plinth base but does not detract from the overall appeal.
