Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.

A Georgian corner cupboard is a triangular-backed cabinet designed during the eighteenth century to fit flush into the corner of a room, maximizing usable floor space while providing secure storage.

Craftsmen primarily constructed these cupboards from dense timbers such as mahogany, oak, or walnut, frequently accenting door panels with decorative marquetry, shell inlays, and cast brass H-hinges.

Authentic period pieces feature hand-sawn timber backboards, irregular dovetail jointing, original brass hardware with natural oxidisation, and hand-carved decorative trim like dentil moulding.

Mounting or placing a corner cabinet in an underutilised angle of a dining room, hallway, or study provides functional storage while adding warm timber tones and architectural interest to modern layouts.

Dust regularly with a dry microfibre cloth and apply a clear beeswax polish once or twice a year, avoiding modern aerosol sprays and keeping the piece away from direct heat sources to prevent timber shrinkage.
