A Super 17th Century Oak West Country Wainscot Chair of fabulous golden colour, having nicely carved scrolling crest and interwoven pattern to the back with additional foliate carved seat rails. The arms are exceptionally bold, cut from thick sections of Oak, they have developed a wonderful burnished skin from years of handling. It''s wonderful to see the original drop over seat still in place.
