19th Century Howard Style Armchair

Description

Very comfortable 19th century Howard & Sons style reading or library armchair.

Super quality frame and turned mahogany legs with castors to the front. This is an armchair you will happily use all evening, or afternoon!

The current upholstery is vintage, so you can see there are areas of wear and sun bleaching, so this would be a good choice of armchair to use whilst you consider samples for reupholstery.

The interior of the seat springs and webbing etc are all good, so it would just be a re cover in your fabric…you would need around 5m to 6m of fabric.

The chair is offered as you see it here, hence the low price for this style and quality of armchair.

Viewing here in Uppingham is very welcome in my spacious barn studio but also I have a showroom based within the Uppingham Antiques Centre, which is well worth a visit and have a good lunch in town too!
