Description

An outstanding antique leather barrel back wing armchair. This was made in England, it dates from the early twentieth century, likely around the 1910-20’s.

It is of superb quality, this is of generous proportions and is extremely comfortable. The design is beautiful, with a wonderful curved barrel shaped back and fine edges. The leather frame has brass tacked edges and stand on tapered mahogany legs that terminate in brass casters.

The colour of the leather is absolutely beautiful, we have had the leather revived by our leather restorer, the legs have also been re-polished. The condition is excellent for its age, with just some minor surface wear here and there, commensurate for age.
