Pair of late 19th century /early 1900's elegant library or fireside armchairs of unique design.

Upholstered with the original light gold velvet damask, their colour has slightly faded showing evidence of a constant considerate use which is a specific charm of these comfortable chairs.

Raised on mahogany turned straight legs with pad feet to the front and slight cabriole legs to the back, both the arms and the back have a delicate curved shape which add to the look of these rare and thoroughly enjoyable antique lounge chairs.
