From a local cheshire farm a 17thc carved oak original bible box.

C1660-80

It is totally original including the ironwork .its in great condition for its age and is a wonderful colour and patination ( see pics)

These boxes were used as the name implies to hold the family bible and other important documents.

Rare to get with this colour and patina.

It measures 63cms w 43cms d and 20cms h

As always offered at our normal realistic price
