An Georgian Enamelled Bilston Snuff Box c1770, superbly painted to the lid and all sides as well as to the interior of the lid. An artists mark to the base finishes the decoration to this beautifully made item, on a white ground. Hinged lid with brass/bronze mount, fitting well, some small hairlines to the enamel as per photos, consistent with age and very common with these. However, 250+ years old and still looking fabulous.
