Stunning antique French silver gilt Louis Philippe mirror from the early 1800s.
It is in excellent condition.
Silver gilt mirrors are fairly rare to find in this conditon.
Its real silver gilt (silver leaf) on gesso frame is in an etched floral design.
It has its lovely original mercury glass with very light foxing in places. Mercury glass was not made after 1840 and gives a sparkle and relection like no other glass.
It has its original backboards and a wire ready for it to be hung.
