Antique Chinese Cloisonne Bronze Lidded Box

Description

A super quality 19th century bronze cloisonne jewellery box in excellent condition dating from around 1870.

The box has wonderful enamel inlaid detail throughout with asiatic pheasant design to the lid with beautiful swirling tail feathers.

The sides have detailed floral borders and Chinese motif and the base is beautifully enamelled with a stunning Persian style design in a gorgeous green enamel with very fine detail.

The box measures 11 cms by 9 cms by 6 cms high.
