Pair Of George III Mahogany Open Armchairs

A superb pair of mahogany open armchairs, circa 1780.
 
Each with channelled frames, the arched back with pierced Gothic splat centred by a pierced roundel and flanked by serpentine arms.
 
With traditionally upholstered drop-in seat pads covered in a John Boyd Holstein fabric.
 
Raised on turned fluted legs joined by fluted stretchers, terminating in toupie feet.
 
Structurally sound.
