Here we have a wonderful quality ladies writing slope with amazing Abalone and Mother of Pearl inlaid into ebony and then veneered onto mahogany, upon opening the working lock and key the interior is furnished with a plush purple velvet slope below a fitted top section housing pen tray, lidded sections for stamps, and two original glass inkwells with named lids for Waterlow & Sons, London. who were a prominent stationer's company famous for producing stamps and bank notes, there is also a storage section underneath the slope.
