Here we have a stunning early Victorian Burr Oak box in the form of a book c1840. As you can see the box has exceptional colour and patina. The burr is quite simply beautiful and cleverly made into a book shape with sliding cover. The sliding cover is still flush and works well. A beautiful piece of treen which would sit proudly in any collection. The dimensions are approx 20 cm high 10 cm wide 3.5 cm deep.
