Victorian Walnut Brass Bound Jewellery/ Watch Box

19th century
Description

A very attractive brass bound jewellery or watch box in walnut that dates to around 1840

In lovely original condition with a bold grain configuration and a nice light brown waxed finish with a brass cartouche and escutcheon and brass corners

It has dividers on the base and lift out tray which have been lined in a nice period paper

has some marks on the outside which are commensurate with its’ age and do not detract from its’ splendour in any way

Measures 12 inches wide, 9 inches deep and 5 inches high

Would make a lovely present for a loved one
