Early C.18th George I Mahogany Side Chair C1720 (georgian Queen Anne Style Dining)

An early c.18th side chair, in the Queen Anne style, circa 1720, George I period. Featuring a solid vasiform back splat, over drop in seat covered in gold and ivory coloured brocade fabric. Rounded broad seat rails, raised on cabriole front legs with carved edges, on off-set pad feet, splayed rear legs with chamfered corners with single ring turned stretcher between.
 
A handsome and quality chair, in very good condition and ready for use.

This chair measures approximately 102 cm (40'') tall, 56 cm (22'') wide, and 50 cm (19.75'') deep. The seat height is approximately 50 cm (19.75'').
