This is a wonderful set of six elm smokers’ bow armchairs, presented in superb antique condition. The upper rails boast a distinctive arched and bowed backrest, combining comfort with elegant support. Gracefully turned spindles rise to reinforce the striking horseshoe armrests, which terminate in charming out-turned scrolled hand grips.

Each chair features a beautifully crafted saddle-shaped seat, resting on finely turned legs united by a turned H-stretcher for added stability and visual appeal. While bearing the light character marks of their age, as expected of antique furniture, these chairs remain solid and full of life.

Exuding superb country house charm, they showcase the classic bow form with a desirable aged patina. The select elm wood reveals its fine grain with delightful caramel hues, enriching their timeless and graceful appearance.
