Rare Pair of Georgian Antique Windsor Dining Chairs

A wonderful early pair of English 18th century antique low back Windsor dining armchairs, totally original and with a three part arm. Very well made in solid ash that is a lovely colour, they both have very shapely, thick seats on four turned legs that are joined by H stretchers. They are both in excellent, solid condition, traditionally pegged and the perfect dining height. A comfortable model with spindle back rests and wide, flat arms. Lovely for two to still be together. Rare pair of Georgian antique Windsors, from the West Country originally around 1770.

Very well made in solid ash that is a lovely colour, they both have very shapely, thick seats on four turned legs that are joined by H stretchers.
