Victorian Walnut and Parquetry Domed Sewing Box

19th century
Description

A stunning sewing box in walnut with parquetry inlay and a domed top that dates from around 1880

In a nice medium brown waxed finish, with a red satin interior and a concertina pull out storage flap in its’ lid

In fantastic condition, it has been lovingly restored and has all its’ sewing accoutrements in a lift out tray

It has a working lock with its’ original key

It measures 12 inches wide, 9 inches deep and 6 inches high

A beautiful functional box that would make a nice present for a sewing aficionado
