Handsome George I walnut open armchair; a well drawn chair of generous proportions; the curved top rail of an exaggerated form terminating in carved scrolled ears, above a wide pierced splat. The scrolled outswept arms on curved supports; the padded upholstered seat raised on shapely cabriole legs having carved shells and hare bells; terminating in ball and claw feet. With outswept legs to the rear on square pad feet. The seat newly upholstered in the traditional manner with close brass studding.
