Description

A fine quality Victorian burr walnut writing slope. Brass corners and brass bound with vacant brass engraving plate and matching escutcheon. Working lock and key, opening to reveal a coromandel interir with brass corner re-inforcers, tooled black skiver, pair of inkwells, pen tray, lidded compartment and nib tray with various stationery compartments.

Beneath the top writing board opens to a concealed panel behind which is a bank of three secret drawers.
