A Super Rare chair ,A Yew Wood high back Windsor chair the seat is stamped Nicholson Rockley, this chair is one of the rare George Nicholson chairs with his unique version of leg turnings and to be stamped as well makes it a text book chair I’ve never physically seen one of these before,(see Bill Cottons Windsor chair reference book) . George took over the Rockley workshop after its founder William Wheatland left after his bankruptcy. this chair is in excellent condition
