Antique Edwardian Walnut Caned Armchair

1900 - 1920
Description

A beautiful antique Edwardian walnut caned armchair, made in England and dating from around the 1900-1910 period.

This is of superb quality, it has a elegant yet sturdy design. The seat and back rest are beautifully caned, this stands on cabriole legs with carved hairy paw feet, there is shell carving to the upper backrest.

The condition is excellent, we have had this re-polished, the seat cushion has been newly upholstered in a cream cotton fabric. The cane is all intact and in great order.

Seat height – 18 inches , 46 cm
