I. Allsop & Son, Windsor Chair Manufacturers, Worksop, Nottinghamshire, circa 1871-87; their trade card details the ‘Yew Office’ chair as their second highest priced chair at 17 shillings each. The ball motif to the centre of the H stretcher was typical of chairs made by Allsop.
