A Fine George III Mahogany Armchair Attributed to Gillows, C.1800

Description

Sophisticated and refined.

The underside of the seat rail stamped SRR , unsure if these are the maker's initials or those of a previous owner, probably the latter.

Condition: Historic repair to the left arm, and chip to the back right leg, see images. Despite this the chair is structurally solid and fit for purpose.
