A Chinese 19th C Cloisonné Enamel Box, Circa 1880

This very pleasing small Chinese cloisonné enamel box is lovely quality.

It is very sturdy in its manufacture with a good strong hinge to the lid.

The box is raised up onto gilt brass ball feet with a matching gilt frame to the underside of the box and both rim edges to the open lid.

The bold colour scheme of the enamel is quite dramatic with black boarders and background highlighting the fine brightly colour decoration which is in the form of multiple stems of coloured flowers in yellow, pink, blue and white with green foliage.

This delightful box is in very good condition with no damage.
