An attractive 19th. Century mahogany bergere library or desk chair. The curved roll over top rail and swept arms with rattan split cane panels to the back and sides. The arms having scrolling carved ends and supports with a serpentine shaped seat reupholstered in a top quality hand dyed brown leather and brass studded detail. The chair is raised on very good turned and fluted front legs with applied carved patrea and brass cup caster with out swept back legs.
