Chippendale Period Mahogany Open Armchair

A late eighteenth century mahogany open armchair, in the manner of Thomas Chippendale. C.1775
 
With a moulded oval back rest, carved underarm supports and hand grips. Raised on turned tapering forelegs.
 
Traditionally upholstered in a cream flax linen fabric, with minor imperfections.
 
With fabulous colour and depth to the mahogany. Structurally sound, with sympathetic repair.
