French Antique Warehouse has dated this piece to the 1880s.

Followed by a lightly carved pattern which surrounds the next layer.
At each of the top corners to the mirror can be seen more carved decoration, of the French ‘fleur de lis’, a key indication to the roots of this fine piece.

– The inner border decoration is of a unique style almost like that of a scalloped edge with some additional detail.
Typically made for placement above a fireplace mantel this item would sit wonderfully in a living room or lounge but will also look superb in other spaces.

In very good condition with some foxing to the mirror and slight signs of age related wear overall, bringing character and charm with it’s antique history.
